I was raised in the Episcopal Church. After college, I worked as a teacher and then in 1980 entered what was then the new field of "information technology". Sally and I married in 1984 and were blessed to have four children (three sons and one daughter). At age 40, I entered seminary in the Episcopal Church and after ordination, I served Episcopal parishes in California, Texas, and Connecticut. During those years of ministry, however, we gradually sensed a call by God to the Catholic Faith. Finally, in 2005, we were received into the Catholic Church.
I returned to "secular" employment but five years later was accepted into a special priestly formation process for former Episcopal clergy. In 2011, I was ordained to the transitional diaconate and in 2012 to the priesthood of the Catholic Church. I served 4 years as assistant at St. Mary's in Branford and most recently 5 years as pastor of Our Lady of Fatima in Wallingford. I have also served as Courage Chaplain for the Archdiocese for the last seven years.
We have lived in our home in New Haven since 2007. Sally has a legal practice, serving small business clients. What I enjoy most about ministering as a priest is proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ and celebrating the Sacraments of the Church through which we can receive Him into our lives. I will strive, with God's help, to provide prayerful leadership to the parish.
