The Souper Bowl of Caring is our parish participation in a national event which takes place each year on Super Bowl Sunday. The children in our religious education program provide the ingredients for homemade soup which is sold to raise funds for the services offered by the Beacon on the Hill. Each small contribution comes together to fill a huge need in our community.
Volunteers of all ages are needed to promote the event, as well as prepare packaging for the soup, cook it, and sell it on Super Bowl Sunday after all Masses.
Time Commitment: Two or three planning meetings take place prior to the event; help in the kitchen is
needed on Saturday; cashiers are needed on Saturday night and Sunday morning; set-up and clean-up volunteers
would be appreciated on the day of the event.
