Giving Tree

The Giving Tree is an Advent/Christmas project of the Parish Social Ministry Committee.
Specific needs are gathered from various sources and placed on handmade ornaments that are hung on the annual Giving Trees. Parishioners are asked to take an ornament, purchase the item and return it to Church by a specific date. Unwrapped items are delivered or picked up by the various agencies and organizations for delivery before Christmas.
Those involved have a desire to share the joys and blessings of Christmas with our less fortunate brothers and sisters.

Time Commitment: Help is needed throughout Advent to make the ornaments, set up the trees, gather and sort the gifts and be available for the delivery and pickup by the agencies. "Many hands make light the work," a time commitment of one hour or several throughout the Advent Season is appreciated.
