Parish Social Ministry Committee

This committee ministers to the needy in our community by organizing and promoting food, clothing, toys, and diaper drives for the Beacon on the Hill. Its members also educate other church ministries on how they, too, can minister to those in need. Its goal is to build a parish community that has social justice as one of its top priorities.
Committee members should have a heart for helping and promoting social justice. A helping hands attitude is a must as is the ability to communicate the committee's mission to others through presentations and other communications.

Time Commitment: The committee meets monthly for 1 1/2 hours and organizes several events per year. Members can participate in the committee meetings or for special events only.
